Aquarius Star Kuta - Thursday 28/12/78 - overcast & rainy.

Mark said he had to go to Denpasar to get his licence and then we were all going to go to Tanah Lot. Cathy and I caught a bemo in and went shopping in the markets. I bought Stephen and Matthew a shirt each and Mum a tablecloth for 300 rp. I went to the film shop to pick up our photos. Some films are good and some are blurry and they had also left one of them in Singaraja. Brad had not found Mark or the booking office for our plane to Surabaya.

Then we lost Cathy so at 2pm we went on the bike to Tanah Lot which is about an hour's drive along the most shocking road. It would have to be the worst road in Bali. Tanah Lot is the snake temple out on a rock which you can walk out to at low tide. We walked out and had a look around and then went and had a cold drink. When we arrived back in Denpasar we were so dirty. We went to the film shop and it still hadn’t arrived so we went back to Kuta. We went to dinner with Ann, Jeff, Cathy & Mark at Lucas and had a beautiful meal. For entrée we had frog legs and then veal Cordon Bleu.
