Aquarius Star, Kuta - Friday 15/12/78 - cloudy

Today we got up at 7am and hired a bemo for 2000 rup to go to Uluwahtou. There were 7 of us - Pete, Les, Andrew, Pete and Noel. It cost 300 rup for some Balinese boys to carry the boards along the track to the beach. It was a much better track than we previously went along and brought us out to the cave. We climbed into the cave down a bamboo ladder. As it was high tide I sat in the cave and read. The others paddled out through the cave and went for a surf. Afterwards we went up on the headland and had a drink. We walked back as the bemo was picking us up at 1 pm. Brad and I then read and at 4pm had a late lunch and went shopping and down to the beach to watch the sunset. For dinner we went to Sunset Restaurant and had sweet and sour pork which was very gristly and not very nice. It was a nice setting though as it was open and looked straight onto the beach. We are learning more Balinese -

Silicon - please
