Laguna Beach Sunset

Well I finally arrived into Laguna Beach - 3 days later than expected after my flight being cancelled out of Sydney due to engine problems. The had to fly another plane out from the USA to get us out there which meant I had a 3 day wait at Rydges Airport Hotel. United paid for my accommodation and gave me $50 day food allowance.

Brad had left a few days before me and was fling via Hong kong with a 1 day stop over there. He went through to Denver where he picked up the Excursion ands driving to from Colorado through Seattle . I had 1 night stop in Laguna Beach for a work meeting before heading to Seattle.

The whole family is heading to Seattle for Christmas with Adam and Kristina and the grandkids. Michael and Jane , Nick and Madi and Math are going to Japan first for a holiday. Michael and Jane are then going LA for a couple of days, Nathan and Taylor are going to New York and Nick and Madi straight to Seattle.

I had booked a Prime time time shuttle bus from LA to Laguna for $56 and arrived into Laguna Beach around midday. The Holiday Inn was 2 blocks from the beach and in the main street where there was restaurants and shops only a 10 minute walk away. I walked along the beach to watch some surfers and was surprised at how close to the water the houses are built!

After my meeting I watched a beautiful sunset in the crisp cool air and then found a cool restaurant to go and have dinner. I had some delicious salmon at Nicks restaurant.
