Rodeo...yahoo!

Crossing the Bighorn Mountains, we proceeded on to Cody of Buffalo Bill fame where we spent the next two nights. We didn’t stay right in Cody or have a look over the Buffalo Bill Historical Centre as it was pretty expensive, but headed about 17 miles east to Wapita near Cody. The view we had of Jim Mountain was spectacular. We adults were sleeping in the pop-up trailer with the boys in a tent and the early morning view was spectacular - like waking up in the middle of nowhere with this beautiful mountain dominating the skyline. The first evening Hilary and Bradley took the boys to a Rodeo. We decided not to go, Noel because he was tired and me because I have this feeling that the animals are only being used as a boost to man’s ego. However, apparently it was a great evening and was a lot of fun. Sometimes we make the wrong decisions.
