Mission Beach and Gas Light District

We were checking outdoor to go to stay in the city in the Gas Light District. The bikes hadn't been collected yet so we had out and did another 4 hour ride through Old Town to Mission Bay and Beach. It was much easier ride with only 1 hill.

I loved this day. From the interesting houses from Hillcrest to the historic Spanish Old Town. We then followed a river trail, crossed over 2 bridges across Mission Bay and ended up at beautiful Mission Beach. It was only 2 blocks between the beach and the bay and had narrow walking laneways off the beach. It was so cute and quirky... a place you could easily live. Along the beach was a wide cycle /walk path.

We übered it into the city to a lovely interesting hostel right in the heart of restaurants. Love the gas light district

Along riverfrint and across Mission Bay via 2 bridges to Mission Beach. Rode along the beachfront path busy with walkers /cyclist and roller bladers
