Day 25- 31.3km

The scenery in Galicia is so beautiful. It is hilly and green. The churches are much smaller with low square steeples. The villages are dairy farms and there is lots of cow poo and accompanying smells.

Today was hilly and beautiful. The downhill through the forest to Triacestala was gorgeous. I then went on to the village of Samos and as it appeared down below us from the top of a hill it looked stunning. The monastery is one of the oldest in the western world and I stayed there in a lovely old room with about 70 beds in it. Walked for a little while with a lovely Aussie guy and English lady today and met up again with them for dinner.

I did an afternoon tour of the monastery and went into the back of the massive church and watched a local wedding
