Eating in Louisiana

Today was a massive eating day tasting some of the culinary delights of New Orleans! At 12 midday we were picked up by local friends for lunch at Mr B's. We were served by Stephen who has 5 star on his lapels. 1 star represented each 5 years he has worked here. It will be 30 years next year for him! The food and service was amazing and we had bibs tied around our necks as eating the prawns was messy !

We had the following food:

Seafood Gumbo

Coconut Shrimp

Fried catfish

BBQ shrimp - my favourite

Softest warm bread to mop up the sauce and an amazing dessert.

After that they took us to see the Mississippi River and their planation style home which is on the Mississippi but behind a levee.

They then took u sot another favourite restaurant - Zeas This time they ordered for us:

Duck Corn grits

Mashed sweet potato

and a dessert

Amazing food as well! Ate so much today I feel like i could explode!

Was so amazing to have locals take us out to eat their favourite food
