Drive to Cashmere

Brad had a rest day today from snowboarding so I just skiied by myself for a couple of hours. He went to check out the local knife store while I did that.

My feet get cold and numb so quickly - after 3 runs ( about 40 minutes) I cannot feel my feet at all. That is even with my new socks bought yesterday from the ski store. Have to go in for a hot chocolate and take the boots off to get some blood and warmth back into my freezing white toes!!

Drove this afternoon to Cashmere whch is 12 miles from Leavenworth. It is surrounded by apple orchards and has a cider factory. It is small town USA with little houses wth a front porch, a rocking chair and and an american flag on the house.....just like the movies!
