Travel day to Rome - 6 hours on the Train

Loved my last morning in Venice lying in my bed and looking out at the red tile roofs out my window and the local church spire, listening tho the bells chime...ooohhh bliss. Loved looking out the window watching the people walk down this lane, the pigeons where they roosted at the neighbours ledge and the neighbours cat out on the window ledge. Will miss my little Venetian home...but time to move on as the next adventure awaits. It is is 6 hours on a train from here to Rome. It was hot in our carriage so we dozed ,read and I watched 2 movies on my laptop.

Our Hostel the Beehive is only 2 blocks from the station Termini ( a huge station) and our triple room is just lovely. We have the corner room on the 1st floor with lovely view of a garden and the street. Cost us 35 euro a night each.

We were totally exhausted from the trip and found a good local and had a cold drink to revive us and then had a bit of a walk. Planned to walk to the spanish steps but got a bit lost and did a big circle so just ended up looking around the local area up near Republicca Piazza and an old church.

We found a local supermarket to buy some water and snacks. I didn't feel like pizza or pasta and bought cheese and tomato to have on crackers in our room while Mum and Nath went out for pizza.
