Camped overnight at Estes Park

Estes Park

Brad & I got away at Estes Park for 2 days. We slept in the back of the chevy van & did lots of reading, sleeping , hiking & making friends with the local wildlife. Loved the cute little chipmunks. I did a 4 mile hike from Bear lake to Nymph Lake & Emerald Lakes. Brad stopped at Dream Lake & I kept going

We drove up the Fall River Road to the top of the Continental Divide & then drove back down the Trail ridge Road into the National Park. I saw my first columbine the state flower. Even though it's the middle of Summer, snow still hasn’t melted &it was cold up at the top. At the top of the Continental Divide, above the tree line there were fields of alpine flowers
