Cambodia with Citipointe Band - Phnom Penh

During the first week of our adventure, we travelled with the Citipointe band to Cambodia. The first few days were spent in Phnom Penh and the band played at a youth concert at New Life Church. Whilst the Band was setting up for the big night Nath and I hit the markets, first was the Olympic markets (not very exciting), and next was the Russian Markets (great for clothes and DVD's) and finally Sorya shopping centre which had a roller skating rink where Cambodian’s were doing psycho jumps. Then we went to the roof where there was a great view over the entire city. Of course we had to visit Swensons Icecream before leaving Sorya Shops & have one of the best icecreams in the world

The Concert at New Life Church was great and our tuk-tuk driver got saved. Afterwards, the Citipointe Band and & some of the muso’ from the Church all went out to dinner at Baan Thai. We all ate upstairs on the veranda of a cool traditional Khmer wooden house and we sat on cushions on the floor around low tables. I ate my favourite Tempura Shrimp & vegetables with chilli sauce!
